With their extensive knowledge and natural resourcefulness, this team keeps the hotel running from top to bottom day-in and day-out. Their excellent guest service skills and desire to help allow this team to quickly resolve any issues that may arise while ensuring that every guest and team member is well taken care of.


Where You Come In:


As an HVAC Technician for The Westin Nashville, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing and maintaining all HVAC, air quality control and refrigeration equipment. You will also be responsible for the maintenance and monitoring of property temperature, energy and utilities usage, electrical systems or electronic wiring, pipe assemblies, pool and spa maintenance and any other duties as assigned. In addition to this, you will also perform standard engineer duties such as responding to guest repair requests, communicating with guests to resolve maintenance issues, and performing any preventative maintenance or repairs as assigned. To succeed in this position, you will need experience with air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, carpentry and finish skills, mechanical, general building management, pneumatic/electronic systems and controls, and/or energy conservation as well as display advanced ability to read standard blue prints and electrical schematics concerning plumbing and HVAC. Leadership experience is a plus as you may be asked to perform Engineer-on-Duty responsibilities in the absence of supervisors. You should also be able to stand for periods of 8-10 hours, be able to lift at least 50lbs, be able to bend, squat and stretch in areas of limited space and be able to communicate clearly and pleasantly in English. You must have Universal EPA Certification to be considered.
