The Stewarding department at The Westin Nashville supports the Food and Beverage and Culinary departments by providing the necessary resources to keep the operation running smoothly. Whether it's in our beloved employee cafeteria or one of our three top-notch kitchens, the Stewarding team members ensure that our entire Westin team has what it takes to provide excellent guest service and consistently create lifelong memories.


Where You Come In:


As a Stewarding Supervisor for The Westin Nashville, you will be responsible for working alongside the Executive Steward to oversee the entire Stewarding Department. Behind the scenes, you will ensure that the department is prepared and organized. You will also ensure that all company policies and procedures are being followed for everything from workplace behavior to health and safety. Above all, you will keep the team motivated through your energetic, positive management style while leading them to exceed expectations and deliver exceptional service. In a hands-on capacity, you will also perform all related duties to maintain kitchen work areas and keeping restaurant equipment and utensils in clean and orderly condition. You will oversee the cleaning of kitchen equipment, dishware, glassware, cookware and silverware either by hand or through the dishwashing machines. You will also assist your team with transferring supplies and equipment, putting away and organizing clean items, putting away and rotating stock and polishing and maintaining all silver as necessary. You should be able to handle the physical aspects of the job, too. You will need to be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds without assistance as well as stand, sit or walk for extended periods of time.
