The Environment:

Work alongside some of Nashville's best as you grow your culinary experience and strengthen your skills in the kitchen. The Culinary department at The Westin Nashville supports the different dining outlets by providing world-class fare and high-quality service to each individual guest. Known throughout Nashville for their involvement in the community and their multiple appearances in the media, the Culinary team at The Westin Nashville does more than just offer an excellent dining experience; They offer an environment that allows you to cultivate your creativity while sharing your vast knowledge for all things food in a city that loves to eat.

Where You Come In:

If you enjoy keeping up with current food trends, utilizing your natural creativity, and being challenged daily, then joining the team at The Westin Nashville will be the perfect way to step up your culinary game. Being a cook on this team will be no easy feat though. You'll need to have a decent understanding of things like a la carte cooking, presentation, gourmet dining, food safety, and other general kitchen policies and procedures from your previous experience in the kitchen. You should also be able to handle the physical aspect of the job as well. Standing for long periods of time, moving quickly, and lifting up to 50 pounds are all part of the day-to-day activity in the kitchen. If you can handle all of that, you'll have no trouble keeping up in this unique, fast-paced environment.
