About the job:

 

Purpose:  The Mini-Bar Attendant is responsible for the inventory and stocking of self-service mini-bars in guest rooms with some customer contact.

Job Responsibilities: 

  1. Proactively greet, interact, and assist resort staff in a professional manner to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious work environment.
  2. Stock and replace missing items, inspect, move and clean the mini-bars in accordance with departmental procedures and policies.
  3. Proactively seek to provide refined luxury service ensuring guest satisfaction.
  4. Maintain, organize, and clean assigned storerooms daily.
  5. Properly complete, maintain and track inventory in assigned storerooms.
  6. Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas.
  7. Ensure products in Mini-Bar are not expired and take the proper procedure to remove those products as necessary. Ensure rotation of all Mini-Bar products.
  8. Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment. Use equipment only as intended. Report any damage or maintenance defects.
  9. Perform all duties as deemed necessary for the success of the department.
  10. Report all mini-bar concerns to management including any guest issues.
  11. Maintain strict control of stocks and be able to account for all stock distributed.
  12. Follow proper guidelines on Food Safety.
  13. Other duties as assigned.

Job Skills:

  1. Basic knowledge of merchandising and inventory methods
  2. Must have good Math skills.
  3. Must have good communication skills (verbal and non-verbal)
  4. Able to multi-task and utilize efficient time management.

Job Qualifications: 

Education

High school diploma or equivalent.
